• All the faculty members of the Commerce and Management department are a part of Communities of Practice (COP). These COPs are formed based on the course handled by faculty to disseminate unified information and latest developments in the relevant domain.
• The final year students are actively involved in outreach programme, wherein each class is allotted a month to take up social activities either individually in their locality or in groups.

Opting for a Bachelor in Commerce specialising in Logistics and Supply Chain Management first seemed like a rigorous programme. In my experience, it has been well balanced and helped me learn about the vast area of opportunities that the supply chain field offers. Some subjects are Introduction to Logistics, Operations Management, Project Management, and Freight and Cargo Management. Learning the SAP- Materials Management module along with the course allows us as students to stand out from other fresh graduates. The lecturers are supportive, experienced and creative in their teaching methods. Research projects in the final semester allowed us to gain more knowledge. I have learnt a lot, not just academically but in all other aspects of my career development. Overall, my journey at Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous has been delightful. I am grateful to everyone who was a part of it.

It gives me great pleasure to say with pride that I Chowthi Eshwar, from the batch of 2021 completed my B.Com in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous. My programme provided me with both theoretical and practical experience. They provided us with specialization courses which made it easier for me to understand and excel at my course. My relationship with the faculty and students has been cordial, which gave me an opportunity to excel in my area of interest. I was the Vice President of ‘The House of Commerce and Management’ in my final year. Hi, I am Anuja Torvi, currently pursuing my Masters in Commerce. I worked as Financial Analyst at Deloitte USI soon after I finished my Bachelor’s in Business Administration at Jyoti Nivas College.
My Alma mater has been an integral part of shaping me to become the person I am. The events like Industrial visits to multiple companies like Coca-Cola and TVS Motors etc., and inter-college competitions helped me to grow my knowledge beyond books. The homely environment, cooperative seniors and dedicated teachers made me feel that I have chosen the best college for my under-graduation. Not only regular academics they also focussed on skill and moral value development. They also had many other platforms like Rotaract, NSS, NCC which helped me in developing my personality.
