Under autonomy several non-traditional methods of teaching are employed by the very well qualified faculty who have freedom to enrich the syllabi with components relevant to women and contemporary requirements.

The experienced teaching staff and chairpersons of various Board of Studies, Board of Examination and Textbook committees play an integral role in curriculum designing and formulating testing patterns within the prescribed framework of the University curriculum.

A precise monitoring of the academic calendar ensures the unitization of syllabus. The institution has a well-conceived plan for monitoring students' progress continually. Students are evaluated by their performance in exams and frequent class tests conducted by the college.

Students are constanly updated on important information through their handbooks, the notice boards, and the public address system.Staff meeting, PTA meetings, and websites help in monitoring the overall performance of the students.

The college has a unique and effective mentor-ward system, wherein the mentor keeps track of her/his wards' overall performance, right from the first year to the final year.The mentor ascertains the strength and weaknesses of her/his wards, and is responsible for issuing the Conduct Certificates to them.

The college organizes orientation programmes to guide the students and improve the overall quality and standard of the institution. Orientation programmes for freshers at the commencement of the academic year are reinforced through weekly assemblies, Value Education classes, mentor-ward meetings, and parent teacher meetings.
