The B.A. programme is an in-depth undergraduate course designed to provide students with a comprehensive and Holistic education in the humanities, social sciences, and related disciplines. The programme emphasizes critical thinking, creativity and interdisciplinary learning, equipping students with the academic and professional knowledge and skills needed for success.

Students gain a deep understanding of their chosen disciplines, such as Psychology, English Literature, Sociology. while also acquiring transferable skills in research, communication, analysis, and problem-solving.

It also provides a strong foundation for further studies in areas such as law, management, and social work.

 •  Minimum of 50% marks for Karnataka Students and 60% marks for outside students (aggregate) in the qualifying examination Application for admission to college must be in the prescribed form.

1. To develop the students foundational knowledge and assessment skills of psychology with it's applications integrated through research training and development.
 
2. To introduce students to the study of literature and expose them to the study of English language and its functioning. 
 
3. To equip students to interpret and analyse social issues with a Sociological perspective, considering both individual and societal factors.
                  
After the successful completion of the course, the student will be able to: 
1. Apply psychological and sociological concepts to real-world issues, such as mental health, education, and social justice, develop strong analytical and communication skills for effective problem-solving and collaboration.
 
2.  Possess a deep understanding of literature and the English language, enabling them to interpret texts and articulate ideas effectively.
