The B.A. programme is an in-depth undergraduate course designed to provide students with a comprehensive and Holistic education in the humanities, social sciences, and related disciplines. The programme emphasizes critical thinking, creativity and interdisciplinary learning, equipping students with the academic and professional knowledge and skills needed for success.
Through a combination of core subjects, electives, and skill-based courses, the BA programme fosters intellectual growth, ethical reasoning, and cultural awareness. Students gain a deep understanding of their chosen disciplines, such as Psychology, Economics, Sociology. while also acquiring transferable skills in research, communication, analysis, and problem-solving.
The curriculum is ideal for students aspiring to careers in education, research, media, public administration, creative writing, tourism, and other fields that value cultural and social knowledge. It also provides a strong foundation for further studies in areas such as law, management, and social work.

Pass in P.U.C or any other examination recognized as equivalent by Bengaluru City University.
Minimum of 50% marks for Karnataka Students and 60% marks for outside students (aggregate) in the qualifying examination Application for admission to college must be in the prescribed form.

NOTE:
1. Students studying language Additional English should pay an additional fees of Rs.2000/-
Students studying language French should pay an additional fee of Rs.5000/-
2. Kindly submit all the original documents (10th Standard Marks Card and 12th / II PUC Marks card, TC and Migration) along with 2 photocopies and 2 passport size photograph after the announcement of 12th/II PUC results.
3. Students belonging to SC / ST / CAT I, II A, II B, III A, III B should submit their Caste (valid for 5 years) / Income Certificate issued by the concerned authority along with 3 photocopies of the same.
4. Students belonging to Low Income Group [Rs.1,00,000/- and below Per Annum] should submit 3 photocopies of the Income Certificate.
5. In case the Government enhances the fees the same will be collected during the course of the year.
6. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

1. To develop the students foundational knowledge and assessment skills of psychology with it's applications integrated through research training and development.
2. To train students in basic economic theory, build analytical &quantitative skills to explore dimensions of real-world issues, problem solving and policy responses.
3. To gain a deep understanding of how economic forces shape societies over time, influenced by social structures and historical contexts.

After the successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
1. Have a strong foundation in psychological concepts and their applications in economic and social contexts, demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret human behavior using economic and sociological lenses.
2. Understand basic economic theory, build analytical & quantitative skills to explore dimensions of real-world issues, problem solving and policy responses.
3. Have a solid grasp of dominant sociological theories and their application to real-world social structures and issues.
