Programme Details: BCG (Biotechnology, Chemistry, Genetics)
This interdisciplinary program offers students a comprehensive foundation in Biology, Chemistry, and Genetics, with a strong emphasis on their integration into modern biotechnology. By blending these core scientific disciplines, students gain a holistic understanding of how biological systems work at the molecular level, as well as the tools to manipulate and engineer these systems for practical applications in the field of healthcare, agriculture and bioengineering.

Pass in P.U.C or any other examination recognized as equivalent by Bengaluru City University.
Minimum of 50% marks for Karnataka Students and 60% marks for outside students (aggregate) in the qualifying examination Application for admission to college must be in the prescribed form.

NOTE:
1. Students studying language Additional English should pay an additional fees of Rs.2000/-
Students studying language French should pay an additional fee of Rs.5000/-
2. Kindly submit all the original documents (10th Standard Marks Card and 12th / II PUC Marks card, TC and Migration) along with 2 photocopies and 2 passport size photograph after the announcement of 12th/II PUC results.
3. Students belonging to SC / ST / CAT I, II A, II B, III A, III B should submit their Caste (valid for 5 years) / Income Certificate issued by the concerned authority along with 3 photocopies of the same.
4. Students belonging to Low Income Group [Rs.1,00,000/- and below Per Annum] should submit 3 photocopies of the Income Certificate.
5. In case the Government enhances the fees the same will be collected during the course of the year.
6. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

1. Encourage the students to apply the biotechnological concepts in developing sustainable solutions in agriculture, healthcare, environmental management, and industry.
2. Equip students with hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, such as genetic manipulation, fermentation, cell culture, and bioinformatics.
3. Provide students with a solid foundation in the key areas of chemistry (organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and biochemistry) and their interconnections.
4. Encourage the application of genetic knowledge in fields such as medicine (gene therapy, diagnostics) and agriculture (genetically modified crops, livestock improvement).
5. Promote an understanding of the ethical issues surrounding genetic research and in biotechnology, such as genetic privacy, genetic modification, bioethics, genetic modification and intellectual property rights.
