Competitions

Two students from III Semester MCA, Amanda Blessy and S. Catherine, represented the college at the El-Shaddai 2025 – Inter-Collegiate Gospel Fest conducted by Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous and secured Second Place in the Bible Quiz Competition.

In the intra-collegiate competitions, Harshitha T. S. and Priya P. from II Semester MCA represented the PG Centre in Volleyball and Throwball, securing the Runners-Up position.

A team comprising Shakthi S., Sujithra S., Swathi Sri P., Ranjini R., and Megalai R. from the I Semester MCA & MSc won the Third Prize in the Crib Competition.

Nishel Serao from I Semester MCA represented the PG Centre and secured Second Place in the Carol Competition. These accomplishments highlight the departments commitment to encouraging excellence in academics, sports, cultural activities, and holistic student development.

Collaborative and In-house Projects

Interdisciplinary Collaborative Project – Wellness Application

Five students from III Semester (2024–2026 batch) – Anandi D, Diya Jaiby, Logeshwari G, Shahna Nasrin, and Shriya M V – actively participated in a collaborative interdisciplinary project with the Department of Psychology at Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous, working on the development of a Wellness Application.

This initiative provided them with hands-on experience in addressing real-world challenges related to student well-being while applying their technical skills in a practical setting, thereby enhancing their expertise and readiness for industry and research-oriented projects.

Industry Collaborative Project – YT Matrimony & Clahan Technologies

Five students from III Semester (2023–2025 batch) – Aneena Thomas, Divyashree J, Nirma B, Pallavi P, and Reshmi E – actively participated in a collaborative project with industry partners YT Matrimony and Clahan Technologies.

The project provided students with hands-on exposure to real-world problem-solving, allowing them to apply their technical skills in a professional environment and strengthen their industry readiness.
