Research is an essential activity for educational institutions – it generates new knowledge and promotes critical, objective, balanced and solution-oriented thinking. The curriculum of the various courses is formulated keeping this in mind and a lot of time and effort has been invested in fine tuning it to fulfil the institutional agenda as well as the varied background and goals of students admitted.

All research here begins with students working under the mentorship or guideship of the staff to generate working papers which are evaluated by external experts. The papers that pass muster are then encouraged for publication in certified journals.

Objectives:
1. To encourage quality research initiatives in students and staff of the centre.
2. To equip students with research oriented thinking to enable them to thrive, innovate and potentially take up advanced research.
3. To develop students’ critical thinking and analytical skills.
4. To promote and encourage minor and major research projects in the centre.
