Eligibility Criteria


M.A (ENGLISH)

A Bachelor's Degree in any subject from a recognized Indian University.
Students who have majored in English literature must have a minimum of 50% in optional English all the three years put together or a minimum of 55% in General English for two years
Students of other subjects must have a minimum of 50% aggregate for all subjects and a minimum of 55% in General English for two years.

MBA
Candidates who have passed any under graduate examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years are eligible to apply.


MCA
Candidates who have passed any under graduate examination or equivalent examination with Mathematics / Statistics / Computer science / Computer applications / Business Mathematics / Business statistics as one of the optional subjects and obtained an aggregate minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years are eligible to apply.


M.Com ( Financial Analysis)
Bachelor’s or Master Degree in Commerce / Accounting / Management and MA (Economics) of Bangalore University or any recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate in core subjects in the qualifying examinations are eligible.


M.Sc (Organic Chemistry)
A Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Chemistry as a paper from a recognised Indian university with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Students must have a minimum of 50% average in Chemistry for three years and studied Mathematics at 12th / Pre-University level.

M.Sc (Computer Science)
A) B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA with Mathematics as one of the subjects and at least 50% aggregate marks of all optional subjects (throughout 3 years B.Sc. / BCA course), B.Sc. PCM with PG Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science of duration one year.

B) The minimum requirements for SC / ST candidates are relaxed in accordance with University regulations.

M.Sc. (Biological Sciences)
B.Sc. graduates with at least 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects and 50% marks in the aggregate of all optional subjects, with any three of the following subjects: Chemistry, Bio-Chemistry, Botany, Applied Botany, Zoology, Applied Zoology, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Applied Genetics and Sericulture, are eligible.

M. Sc. (Mathematics)
Graduates who have secured 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects and at least 50% marks in Mathematics (cognate subject) at the degree level are eligible.

M. Sc. (Psychology)
Graduates who have secured 40% marks in the aggregate of all subjects and at least 50% marks in Psychology (cognate subject) at the degree level are eligible.

M. Sc. (Wellness Counselling)
Candidates who have passed the Undergraduate degree examination with 50% aggregate marks from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. Students appearing for their final degree examinations in March-June 2023 are also eligible to apply (Applicants who are in the last year of their studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far).

M. Com. (GENERAL)
Candidates who have passed the three year B.Com./ B.B.A. degree examination of any University considered as equivalent thereto, provided they have obtained not less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/Category-I candidates) marks in the aggregate in Commerce subjects.

M. Voc (Banking and Finance)
Graduates who have completed B. Voc. (Banking and Finance) or any equivalent/relevant degree program from a recognized university thereto, are eligible to seek admission to M. Voc. – Banking & Finance master degree program.

Students appearing for their final examinations in the current year can also apply
