The main objective of the programme was to make young investors more aware about the Capital Market in order to facilitate their investing activities and participation with awareness and information.The resource person was Mr Ashok Kumar, Founder-Promoter, Lotus knowledge wealth.The key takeaway of the programme is that wealth creation is a time bound process. The speaker emphasised on being smart investors by saving tax. He summarised the asset classes which is an important learning for aspiring investors.
Department of MBA organized a guest lecture on ‘Business implications of Covid 19’ by Mr. Vijay Kumar C, Product Manager-GS (South Asia) Bühler Group. He discussed about positiveness in negative situation and the significance of sustainability in business. He made the session lively by playing videos, and the students also asked questions at the end of the session.
Department of MBA organised a virtual guest lecture on 23/7/2020 on ‘Campus to Corporate. The resource person for the lecture was Mr. Sreekanth B S, HR manager, Bühler. Through his presentation, he had enriched the students on corporate expectations, skills necessary to achieve success, the expectation performance gap and removed the misconceptions of students on the corporate world. With storytelling, he made the session interesting and meaningful.
The coronavirus outbreak has left many students feeling frightened and worried about their futures. Therefore, in order to support and guide them during such unpredictable times, the department of MBA organized a webinar on ‘Mentoring and Networking during Pandemic’ on 1st June 2020. The speaker for the session was Dr Samuel Johnson K. He encouraged students to always be surrounded by people who they look up to and inspired them to always run behind the quality and not quantity.
