On 6th March 2023, a team of 3 students from I MBA, took part in the RVIM challenge on the “concept union budget 2023” and they did a presentation on the topic food processing. The students bagged the first prize with a cash award of Rs. 5,000.

The Department of MBA, Kristu Jayanthi College organised a fest "SYNECTICS 2023" in online and offline mode. 14 students from 3rd semester MBA participated in different events. In business quiz Ms. Chandrika and Ms. Aruna won the 1st prize with Rs.4,000 cash prize. Ms. Lipica and Ms. Aishwarya won the 2nd prize with Rs. 2,000 cash prize.

MBA students participated in an HR Conclave held by RV Institute of Management. Nikitha S. Babu and Kala Shankar won the 1st place in HR Trivia with a cash prize of Rs. 3,000. The Department of MBA, JNC won the overall prize.

Two students from 2nd year MBA - Ms. Bibi Sarah and Ms. Meghashree presented a paper in the international conference on ‘Challenges and Strategies to revolutionize global business standards’, organized by Krupanidhi Degree College. The students met people from around the world and it nurtured their ideas and concepts of the new business world.

The 2nd year MBA students participated in various events organized by CMS Jain Business School. The students bagged the 2nd prize in both the HR Management event and the Business Analytics event. Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous Post Graduate Centre bagged the overall 4th Position in the “MEGAVERSE” management fest.

Ms. Sheetal from I year MBA presented her idea concept on paper bags for various occasions, with the brand name PAG. Her idea bagged III prize in the all-India idea pitching competition – “The Next Big Idea 2022”, hosted by the Albertian Institute of Management. She received a cash prize of Rs.3,000.
MBA- X culture
X-Culture is an online virtual learning program that eases the learning of international business
practices across the globe for people at various age groups and education levels. The program covers
participants from 136 countries across the world. The founder Dr Vasyl Taras is a tech-savvy and
knowledgeable personality who generously accommodates students from under developed countries
into the course on a no fee quota. The course offers participation opportunity to global business
learners, to work in a live project with a global virtual team to solve a case or to develop a business
plan to an international real business unit. Among the population of 6000 learners from around the
globe Jyoti Nivas PG center has a proud participation of MBA scholars.
X Culture, an international online experiential learning project, involved around 3500 MBA students from 40 countries. 59 students from the Department of MBA, Jyoti Nivas College Autonomous worked with international business students from France, UK, USA, Italy, France, and Japan through a virtual platform of their choice. Students had to complete a research project for a multinational company.

Culture course 2020. Mrs. Jude Ashmi Prakash, faculty in
charge of the course from JNC PG Centre has been
recognized with certificate and recommended as a Global
Educator by X- Culture.
X Culture Report 2019 - 2020
The process was initiated by the mail invitation from the X-Culture group as JNC PG Centre had been
consecutively participating the course for the past 6 years. The applications of all the 59 scholars were
accepted and a welcome letter bearing a link to the qualification test was mailed to each participant
from the admin team of X-Culture. All the applicants qualified the online test with guidance. The
qualified participants are allotted teams and they are boarding the team successfully for the team
rapport process in the first week. The project is planned for 8 weeks and could extend till 11 weeks,
based on global environmental factors and conditions. A solid time of 4 hrs./ week is demanded from
the participants consistently for successful progress in the project.
The cross culture or X culture project of the MBA department helped establish contact, utilized advanced form of technology, global research books and journals to solve a real problem of a real company where in a team of 7-8 students and maybe one corporate were panned out of the virtual global team. The teams developed a high quality business plan for a multinational company working alongside over 3200 students from 101 universities in over 40 countries.
