| Department activities: |
The Department promotes Entrepreneurship among the students through the E Cell. Students are also encouraged to take part in Social Sciences Forum of the college.
Activities: 2008-09
1. UGC sponsored minor research project on “International Flower Auction Centre” Bangalore.
2. UGC sponsored seminar on Entrepreneurship-with special focus on Social Entrepreneurship Aug 2008.
3. A.D Shroff Memorial Elocution competition. Dec'084. Manrita- Social Sciences Convention-Jan 2009.
5. Students attended seminars on E waste management (E-Parisar); Solid waste Management (SAHAS).
6. Model making competition on Environment related themes.
