Sports Activities for year 2011-12           Students participated in inter-class matches in Throwball, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis and Badminton were held in the month of July and August.           SPHYGMUS 2011-12           Annual inter-collegiate Sports Fest Sphygmus was held on 22nd, 23rd, 24th September 2011. Mrs. Pramila Aiyyappa International athlete inaugurated the Sports Fest. As many as 24 colleges in Boys section, 18 colleges in girls section and 10 colleges in the staff section took part in the tournament. Tournament was held in the following games and sports. Boys: Basketball and Volleyball Girls: Basketball, Volleyball, Throwball, Football, Handball, Chess, Carrom and Archery. Staff: Throwball (woman), Shotput (Men) and Carrom (Men).           Achievements           Football: Winners in kingfisher inter-collegiate tournament, Bangalore events inter-corporate tournament and runners in SPHYGMUS and SPIEL inter-collegiate tournament. Cricket:  Winners in the Bangalore University inter-collegiate tournament organised by National College, Bangalore. Handball: Winners in SPHYGMUS, JNC Sports Fest . Throwball: Runners in SPHYGMUS (JNC), St. Johns B.M.S College and SPIEL (SJCC).           Representation           Basketball : Lisma represented Bangalore University. Throwball : Priya C.G and Soujanya represented State in Senior Nationals. Football : Ashritha.S, Sneha.P, Thanmayi, Kavitha and Lilly represented Bangalore University. Ball Badminton: Shruthy Suvarna represented Karnataka State and Bangalore University. Cricket : Chaitra represented Bangalore University. Volleyball : Jonhcy represented Jr.State.
